Jan Willem Heuvelen

A Dutch Archaeologist and former member of The Clive Expedition . Was fired by Dr Clive for incompetence and has been living in the poor quarter ever since. A known drunkard.
The investigators found Jan Willem at his room in the poor quarter and convinced him to tell them his story. He had stolen scrolls from a temple to Bast Hidden in the city and was hoping his translations would improve his standing in the archaeological community. However the theft had drawn the ire of the priestess of Bast known as Neris and his life was unknowingly in danger. The investigators drug Jan Willem and steal the scrolls before returning them to the Temple. Jan Willem recovered from the drugging whilst the investigators were away and swore vengeance.
He has not been seen since.
