The Penhew Foundation

Founded by Sir Aubrey Penhew in 1890. A renowned Egyptologist Sir Aubrey oversaw and funded a number of expeditions to Egypt whilst he was director of the foundation.   Sir Aubrey was a leading figure in the Carlyle expedition of 1919 and was amongst those murdered in Kenya. Currently Edward Gavigan is the Foundations director.   The foundation is currently funding the The Clive Expedition.   RECENT EVENTS   Jack Brady, with the assistance of Killa, was able to infiltrate the Penhew foundation at night and investigate. Breaking into the safe he found 500 £1 notes but nothing else. However upon investigating the secret door they discovered on their last visit they come across the Storage room. Inside the storage room Jack finds footprints in the dust of the corridor leading from the secret door to a Sarcophagus partially hidden by boxes and crates. Jack Brady was unable to open the coffin.   Finding a tall wooden crate in the corner, stamped with "Ho Fang Import/Export, 15 Kaoyang Street, Shanghai, China" written in English on the side as well as Chinese lettering, Jack opens this crate and finds a statue made of corroded brass, depicting a grotesque bulbous humanoid wearing a rice hat with a mass of writhing tentacles seemingly bursting forth from under the hat. Jack failed his sanity check and had a bout of madness. Collapsing over a smaller crate for "Randolph Shipping company" Jack alerts the guards and beats a hasty retreat.
