Snap-dragon

A game played during important events of the year, it has several iterations depending on the contestants.
For children or perhaps new soldiers being hazed as such, a host of fruit and nuts are set afloat in a bowl of brandy. The brandy is then lit on fire, creatng an eerie blue flame that is often enchanced by dimming the rest of the available light sources. It creates strange illusions over those that reach inside for the treats, and is often accompanied by folk lore to incept the idea of magical forces.
For the more seasoned adults, this game is more often played with special mugs that bear a candlestick holder in the center. The object is simple, be the first to finish your brew without spilling a drop or extinguishing your flame. Some men try to slowly pour the beer into their mouths, while others insist on chugging and sacrifice their eyebrows for a win.
