The Stonemen

Preferring strength through fortification and isolationism, this native tribe is a mystery compared to their more famous cousins. This edge cuts both ways however, and leads to a general lack of centralized leadership. Masters of stones, they use ancient techniques to shape their high walled strongholds that put most castles from the monarch to shame. This has kept them safe from the invasion of The Dragon Empire to the south, and the Silklords to the north, however their territory has been neatly cut in two. To make matters worse, most of their farmable land has been raised or taken, so they have been forced to dip into their declining food reserves while they decide on how to deal with the foreign armies.
