Adventure begins

General Summary

Our misfit band of adventures found themselves in the small Hamlet of Evermist on the Sword Coast while on the way to Phandalin . Thorne, head of the local guard and member of The Lords' Alliance, spotted the promising strength of each member and hired them to track down the missing blacksmith's daughter, Remi Stryker, and eliminate the local goblin threat in some nearby Elven Tomb.
With the adept tracking of Lo-Kag, the group was able to quickly track the goblin band back to the site of a skirmish with the local guard and back to their ruin hideout. While attempting to ambush a goblin patrol Keith McCraggins was himself ambushed and injured by falling goblins. Keith McCraggins, Lo-Kag and Quinn Bloodscale eventually managed to dispatch the patrol.
After some quick healing by the cleric Alistair DütcHoven, the group then moved to the ruins. Two goblins guarding the entrance were quickly charged and easily slain by the combined might of Lo-Kag and Keith McCraggins with spell casting support from Alistair DütcHoven and Quinn Bloodscale.
Stealthy moving into the ruin, Quinn Bloodscale instantly incinerated a goblin with the remaining fiends quickly killed by the combined efforts of all adventurers.
Further into the ruins the group encountered the shaman Lhupo and the hobgoblin leader of the enemy raid Surgok who had captured Remi. The adventurers interrupted a dark ritual that Lhupo explained would remove undead protections from the ruins. Briefly attempting to reason with the creature proved fruitless and Quinn Bloodscale managed to magically put Surgok asleep before the battle started. Alistair magically seared Lhupo with a light first degree burn, leaving him distracted enough for Keith McCraggins to make a charge and decapitate the leader with a single mighty blow. Lhupo’s pathetic goblin lackey, Moop, managed to gather the ritual items and wake his leader before running out of the crypt and escaping into the night. The combined skill of our heroes made quick work of Surgok with Lo-Kag delivering the final blow.
Our adventurers managed to find the hidden crypt of an ancient Elven Lord behind a false wall in the ruins. Quinn Bloodscale managed to steal a significant sum of treasure before awakening the undead elves, forcing the party to make a swift escape to safety with Remi Stryker in toe.

Missions/Quests Completed

"The Sacrifice of Innocence" - The Cragmaw Tribe attacked the Hamlet of Evermist, abducting Remi Stryker and burning down the local inn. At the request of Thorne, the local garrison commander, the party set out to save her. They pursued the attackers under the light of a blood moon eclipse into the edge of Neverwinter Woods and to the entrance of an ancient Elven Tomb. Within the Tomb, the party thwarted the Hobgoblin Surgok and the maniacal Lhupo who sort to sacrifice Remi Stryker to Maglubiyet. Thereby rescuing her from certain death.
