Once a vampire, she has ascended and taken her place amongst the planes. The goddess Hecate had imprisoned her follower in the Shadowfell after her exposure to the Ioun Orb, fearing that she would gain power and possibly usurp the Goddess herself. After her release from Barovia, she found her domain in the Bleak Eternity of Gehenna. She appears as a beautiful woman of blonde hair flanked by numerous hell hounds, her favored creature. She is always depicted as having missing her right arm, and statues or art drawn of her that does not accurately portray this are cursed. Her servants are rewarded for their faithful worship, especially vampires, and her cults have quickly spread on the material planes. It is said that her castle in Gehenna has appeared on other planes, leading some to speculate whether it has extra-planar powers. The River Styx flows around her castle and many seek to harvest the souls that flow through it. Morrigans goals remain unknown, but her domain and influence continues to grow.
