Symbol: The World Tree
Favored Weapons: Maul, Natural Weapons
Form of Worship and Holidays: Greengrass, Midsummer
Typical Worshipers: Forest dwellers   Silvanath, known as Father Oak, the Oakfather, and by many other titles, is one of the most worshipped Gods of the Wild. It is said the each wolves howl is in reverence to Silvanath, and every beast owes him their allegiance.   The Tree God is known as such because of his affinity for the forest. Many think that Silvanath is infact the essence of the World Tree Yggdrasil itself, and rarely is this fact disputed. To some the idea that the great tree that spans so many of the planes of existence is a God ridiculous, but the realm of Silvanath is otherwise unknown. His domain does not appear to be the beastlands, and if it is not Yggdrasil itself, then his domain has yet to be discovered.   His worshippers are chiefly concerned with nature itself, specifically wild nature, in both its natural beauty and fierce savagery. Caring very little for maintaining a proper balance with civilization, his worshippers are wrathful towards those who threaten wild places.   When it came to nature itself, his worshippers care greatly for maintaining a balance between growth and decay, water and drought, fire and ice — the natural cycle of life. This was considered to be his dogma and he lead to his worshippers being ultimately concerned with balance. This led some to view his followers as heartless, though they claim to value all life.   While Silvanath is often associated with trees, many beasts also fall under his dominion. His worshippers are commonly druidic, but some zealous knights even fall under his banner. Rarely do his worshippers wear metal armor, but mortals must always respect the power of metal weapons and as such will use them.   His worshippers have a special hatred for those who used fire carelessly or with deliberate intention to cause destruction. He also has an intense rivalry with Zuggtmoy, her rampant corruption and decay being antithetical to his ways.
