The Code of Our Fathers
To an outsider the Code appears to be a loose set of guidelines or laws. It applies to all those who call Storms Call home, and no Orc is above it
This codified set of laws is memorized by the official scribe of the Chief, and it is the chiefs duty to appoint an Orc that knows it by heart. The Code is kept physically in the Hall of Elders, and displayed publicly in Orcish for all to see. It is the pride of the village, and none are above the Code. They believe it is what makes their tribe what it is, what has allowed them to survive. To question an orcs adherence to the faith is to insult them gravely, and as such it is only done . But despite this, the code can be changed and while the orcs follow it to the letter, they will publically decry it should they disagree with it. In this sense it is something followed, but not necessarily believed in.
