The Flame Keeper Clan
The clan is led by the fiery Orc Kosan who worship the fire god Surter. While the tribe does not have the power the used to wield, the importance of The Eternal Flame of Surtur and their forges are of an utmost importance to the clan.
Every morning with the rise of "The Great Pyre" (the sun) the Flame Keepers ignite their torches from the Eternal Flame of Surtur, and use its magical fire to ignite the Braziers surrounding the village. The magical flame lets the pyres burn far longer than they normally could, and they do not dwindle until the following dawn. These flames are held sacred by the orcs, who view them as the fiery strength of the Orc. In truth the magical flames ward evil from the village. While many do not remember their true purpose, the flames are still viewed a part of the their home and could not imagine them being gone.
Other members of the Flame Keepers perform other professions. There are two forges that the group uses to craft goods for the village, as well as a tanner. The Flame Keepers are also in charge of the mint, and forge crude coins. One might not expect Orcs to have adopted the currencies of the south, but during the peaceful reigns they found having a means of trading with their neighbors proved useful. As such they started mining their own, which is generally considered acceptable currency to the surrounding tribes but might raise some eyebrows in the south.
The gold coin minted by The Flamecallers is known as the Bolt, and has the likeness of an orc on one side and the other a lightning bolt. The Flame is made of Copper, and has a flame on its underside. The last is their silver coin, named The Paw, and has a large paw on it.
Membership in the Flame Keeper clan is gained through apprenticeship and work. Entrants start by handling the stocking of the braziers, and work their way up to being the apprentice of one of the professions. Later one can gain the rank of master.
The leader of the Flame keepers is not strictly hereditary, and outsiders are not sure how they choose their leader, but it is for life.
Public Agenda
The Flamekeepers seek a few goals that were deprived of them by The Stormcallers. The first is to reinstate humanoid sacrifices and the taking of slaves. They also wish the Orcs to declare an official holiday for Surtur, a celebration of burnt offerings and festival.
Lastly the amount of ore the tribe has is incredibly low, and the wish to open up mining operations. The Giant Paw Clan has opposed this, see it as a threat to the natural order around them.

History
The Flame Keeper Clan dates itself back to the foundation of their village. After centuries of migration and a lack of a permanent home, the tribe was on the verge of collapse. Under the leadership of Ignirok they forged The Eternal Flame of Surtur and put the worshippers of Althunak to the sword. That hill is now known as Storms Call, though it has held many names throughout the centuries
