Xaon

Xaon is a language primarily spoken in the Xha’en hegemony. There are many varieties of Xaon spoken across the region, but to many outsiders they sound like a single unified language. Most within the hegemony learn their neighbors common words and syllables well enough well enough for communication, but it is easily known which part of the hegemony one comes from based on their speech. Outsiders that speak Xaon are easily identifiable by odd word usage stemming from most outside literature having words from each of the individual varieties of Xaon.
