Order of the Unveiling
Across the entire breadth of Isturoth, there exists a secret order of individuals that seek to expose the bias and falsities spouted by those in positions of power and authority. Its members work in the shadows, collecting information and making connections, always watching for untruths and vile manipulations. For nothing is held dearer to members of the Order than exposing the machinations of the corrupt and the scheming.
Structure
The members of the Order operate in darkness. Few know of their existence, and even fewer know their mission and purpose or how they go about their shadowy work. Their usual method is slow infiltration of organisations all across Isturoth. Often, people already in positions of power or authority are approached and recruited by members of the Order once it has been determined their values align with those of the organisation.
Through these members, they are able to make connections and collect intelligence on other individuals in similar roles. Members will feed this information back to their local chapter, which acts as a hub to the greater Order.
Culture
Members of the Order of the Unveiling will never address one another in public, only in private. Outside of secure backrooms and private quarters, the Order does not exist, and any assertion otherwise is met with blank faces and denial. The culture of secrecy amongst the Order's ranks is paramount to the continued success of their work.
Public Agenda
Unveilers, or "Truthseekers", constantly strive to bring honesty and order to systems that house corrupt individuals, those who have duplicitous motives and harbour dark secrets. This can include officials who take bribes, who lie, those who act with a secret or malicious intent, and anyone who conceals the truth from the greater public.
