The White Order
The White Order (often just called "the Order") was the ruling party tasked with governing the empire of Nel'Akhiron. The ruled for centuries before the outbreak of the Tempest War which ultimately led to the collapse of the empire. They are remembered for their severe, authoritative rule and the tight grip they held over Zhak'raa and how it should be used by Archomancers.
Public Agenda
Since their conception, the White Order sought to govern the kingdom with justice and equality, bringing magic to all.
Privately, however, their core mission was to control the spread of Zhak'raa and limit access to it as much as they could. Once it began to spread beyond their reach, they sought more desperate measures to control who was about to use it and how it was utilised. This came with the The Masters' Codex, a set of guidelines and principles that told citizens of Nel'Akhiron in greater detail how magic was to be used, as set forth (allegedly) by The Masters, the forerunners of their society.
Disbandment
The end of the White Order came with the collapse of the empire of Nel'Akhiron. At the end of the Tempest War, the Black Order had besieged the capital city of Veru'Kar and in their desperation to gain the upper hand, they caused a magical event that destroyed the entire capital and much of the kingdom along with it.
This catastrophe killed all the actively ruling individuals of the White Order, leaving only scattered traces of them across the kingdom that held no hope of reformation in the wake of the disaster.
