Arcane Archer

A powerful meathod of combining arcane magic and archery created by the High Elves. There are survivors from Elarellion that safeguard and pass on this art to those willing to learn and who have the talent. Before The Fall, the High Elves kept most of their culture secret, now they realize the importantce of sharing it with other races as it nearly dissappeared. Kings and Queens of the 10 Kingdoms have hired Elven Arcane Archers to teach at their Academies of War to promising youths. Those accepted into the Academies of War are treated very well and live good lives, as it is not easy to get accepted. The courses are challenging but if you graduate you are given an officer's rank and put in the military or as a Elite Guard. The Cinder Elves of Kovik'zarnum, who were mostly safe in their black fortresses from the destruction of the Arcane Apocalypse, have many trained Arcane Archers patrolling their walls.
Adventurers who are Arcane Archers could come from several places, here are some examples

• High Elves that have skill in arcane archery often take apprentaces, normally relatives or close friends, but they have been known to make exceptions to others as well. Normally proof of aptitude in some regard is required for all prospective apprentaces.
• The Academies of War, located in the 10 Kingdoms of men, have a very large number of applicants. Each applicant is tested on many subjects, if they excel in magic and archery they are chosen for the arcane archer program. Some graduate and begin careers in the military, others do not and have to leave the school. Some of these students had issues with discipline, or health and not skill. Its very possible that if they continued to train, they would become excellent Arcane Archers. These issues might also manifest later in their military career and cause their separation.
• Another option is that they simply serve their time in the military and leave to pursue other goals
