Hayimic

"The colour of the various Hayim Roses is so important in the culture of the Hayim that there are three special words for roses depending on what colour they are: sirlefim, which are the blood-red roses that the first Hayim brought across from their homeland; ganakhim, the pink ones that they found already grown when they arrived; and damarshim, the rare white rose that is so coveted by the nobility. Writing System

Built of 28 different symbols that are meant to be read from the bottom of a page upwards, with lines being read left to right. The symbols themselves are either designs using straight lines or ones depicting curling spirals. Vowel letters are written as accents or modifications to the consonant letters, including a silent letter for vowels not attached to a consonant.

Geographical Distribution

Across the Kingdom of Hayim, but many traders from this land can be found in major cities across The Gratic Empire as well.

Morphology

-Verbs can be in a large variety of tenses, as well as belonging to a conjugation "house" (there are 3 in total).   -Nouns and pronouns reflect gender (masculine or feminine) and number (singular or plural)

Syntax

VSO, but SVO is used for questions. The language uses a question particle as well.

Vocabulary

Most of their words are original to the language that they spoke when they left their homeland, with borrowed Common Gratic words only being used for foreign foods or traditions.
