Kkerwa

The Virtuous, The Queen of Grace

"Blessed be Kkerwa, for She taught the People to be good and kind to one another when evil began to take root among them...Where the Avenger would drive back the demon hordes with sword and spear, Kkerwa tries to shore up the defences of mortal men and women with virtue and kindness so that these vile creatures cannot harm them. Her patience and friendship know no bounds, and those brought into Her care become the most graceful and polite people imaginable."   ~The Long Prayer and the Short Prayer

Tenets of Faith

  • Kkerwa is the personification of the Virtues, the basic code of life that the Hayim people are expected to follow. Naturally, Her wish is that the peoples of the world all go to heaven to fill its gargantuan halls with the spirits of the good.
  • Her role as the goddess of learning means that She is patron of all scholars and commands that the Hayim are well-educated.
  • As the goddess of balance, She makes sure that the evil of the world is balanced with that of the good, lest the demons of the dark rise up and hurt Her people.
  • Holidays

The Festival of Kkerwa is the week of 13 Snowmonth, with Her feast day being that day. For the entirety of that week, the Hayim people are challenged to do a good deed every day instead of one a week. There is also public readings of the Virtues in most town squares during this time.
