The Form of Protection is denoted by the colour orange and its symbol is a raised shield. If one needs defence against any form of attack, this Form contains the necessary magics. Whether it is a ward against strangers touching your belongings or the defensive structures of entire magical colleges and Sanctuaries, this Form is incredibly useful.
Those with Affinity in this Form are often very secretive, and this often gets them in trouble.
As this form is so commonly used in combat or dangerous situations, it is the first to be properly understood by an aspiring mage. Therefore, the specifics of movement are not as necessary as with other forms.
