The White Halls
As my consciousness fled my body and I began to dream the deep dreams of the Astral, I arrived to a marvellous sight. As far as my eyes could see, I beheld rows of bright houses, with small white stone paths connecting them. Glistening trees and bushes filled the spaces between, looking like statues carved of marble. At the gates of each of the buildings were two large titans, guards for the spiritual figures within. ~Conversations with the GodsThe White Halls are the homes of the gods of Orkanis, containing a wide variety of constructions. The bushes and plants there are made of an ivory-like stone, and marble paths and statues dot the area. Many poets liken it to the grace and beauty of some early Star Empire architecture, with many buildings reaching soaring heights or having uncannily perfect masonry. The walkways are the only way to get from building to building, as the terrain around them appears to be made of clouds. The whole settlement, then, appears as a collection of houses floating in midair. From this description in particular comes the epithet "the Heavens". Some even contend that the White Halls are actually up above the clouds of Orkanis, and anyone who could fly high enough would be able to see it. The gods rarely allow the average person of Orkanis to come to their realm. Only a select few in the history of Orkanis have travelled there, and they rarely are permitted to stay for long. That being said, the good dead of the world will go there when they die, their spirits helping strengthen the defences of the structures. Those with less pure hearts will be reincarnated, their souls returning to the land of the living to learn their lesson.
