The Magipunk World of Excordia

Excordia is a reborn world of the multiverse, the gods of old have lost the status they once held and now the only pantheonic beings that exist are the Wonders, a set of 5 divine beings who have dominion over the universe and act as its stewards. Before Excordia there was a world that fell to ruin and became nothing, but upon the intervention of Mortice, Incarus, Psiose, Vitar, and Vacus new life was breathed into this once dead realm. The Wonders created the Material Plane and the Primus system to create a testament to the union of the pantheon, thereafter creating an individual domain in the material plane that belonged solely to one Wonder exclusively. The Wonders then separated in their thinking and began to create their own species, reflective of themselves or ideals.   The "Planes" are not separate dimensions like in traditional D&D but rather something similar to planets in our world with each one forming its own unique terrain and traits accordingly, for instance, Psiose created the Elves on the planet Morpheus when the Wonders began independent investments and imparted the ideas of intelligence and trickery upon them and the other fey of the planet. Each of the planets of elemental chaos is home to one of the wonders as follows: Incarus is nested Fire, Vitar in Water, Mortice in Earth, and Psiose in Air. Vacus lives in a new plane of chaos in the world, Void, which exists as a series of nebulas that float on the outer reaches of the prime material galaxies.
