First Baldon Attack

This conflict that started the fall of the city of Greenfall under the Greenfall City Council. It was a mostly unsuccessful attack by the Baldon's on the city of Greenfall. However it came after a time of peace and prosperity, not one had seen it coming and as such is caused much fear though out the city.
The attack lasted a total of 8 days where members of some of the outlaying states attacked Greenfall. They kept up the attack day and night during those few days. The city was in fear. The forces of the city where not highly trained and they did all that they could to stop the forced that were besieging them. Though the attackers were not as advanced as the city, and despite thier strength they were outmatched by the cities weaponry. In the end many of the guards were lost, the ranks cut down by more then half. But in the end the city did prevail, all be it with much sustained damage not just the lost of people's lives but the destruction of many buildings as well.
After this fight the city started to build the famous wall that they are known for in the next few centuries. The people of the city rally together, they grow stronger because of this attack as military amps up its training and buildings are reinforced. But in the years to come more attacks come to the city and they continue to devastate it. And in the end even this renewed strength and patriotism in the city could not save it from falling. This attack is largely regarded at the beginning of the end in the city.
