Syagrius
Praetor Syagrius
Praetor Syagrius is Praetor of what remains of the Roman Empire. His lands in Frankland were under assault by the barbarian Franks and Sir Bradwen, Sir Gaius, and Sir Monroe saw him when he visited Uther's Court in 485 to seek aid.
King Uther decided to render him aid, but Prince Madoc was reluctant. Nevertheless, in 488 Madoc lead half of Uther's army to France to oppose the Franks. Sir Bradwen helped him win a decisive victory against a Frankish army at the Battle of Giverny through his valorous leadership of his unit.
Later, Madoc's army helped Syagrius take the city of Bayeux, but then Madoc decided to abandon his father's promises and return to the mainland with his army.
Praetor Syagrius went off without the help of the Cymric forces to fight King Claudas of the Franks and Syagrius's forces were decisively defeated, likely spelling an end to the remnants of the Western Roman Empire. It is unknown what happened to Syagrius.
