A Duranium Greatsword is a massive version of the Duranium Blade. Forged out of diamond latticed high tensile strength steel alloys the Greatsword can devastate opponents, cutting through armor, overloading shields and slicing off limbs. Durasteel greatswords can be found everywhere but they are especially prized and widespread among the Tzynn, who also fashion Greataxes and Cleavers out of duranium. Greatswords are by far the most widespread of the heavy melee weapons in use in the galactic vicinity



Duranium greatswords are common, often used i  boarding actions by pirates and by pit fighters on worlds where bloodsports are legal.
