An Energy Blade or Power Sword is a melee weapon with a compact continuous field generator in its body. The generator emits a pulse beam that is channeled and shaped around the outer edge of the weapon by a series of crystalline lattices and micro-magnetic fields. The result is a  reasonably resistant energy coated crystalline sliver blade that can cut through anything and is better at it than any duranium or molecular edge. Energy Blades are very quick to drain their energy cores , often offering no more than a minute or two of continuous use beforeneeding to swap cells. it usually is enough.



Energy Blades are exceedingly rare and prohibitively expensive. They are a form of cutting edge tech recently acquired from observing and reverse engineering the weapons of the Anduri Watchers. Energy blades are very hard to fight with, not least because they require coordonation and power management all at once and becouse there is a very short delay between activating the cutting field and it actually stabilizing, on most weapons.
