Battle of Higashiyama
The Battle of Higashiyama was the high point of Jinseo's rebellion against the Yanjin occupation of the Seom Islands. Despite being outnumbered and having less experience than the Empire's forces, the Rengo resistance fighters were able to repel the Imperial Army in a battle that lasted three days and three nights. They retained control of Higashiyama, a vital symbol of rulership over the archipelago. While the rebellion ultimately failed a year later, the Battle of Higashiyama is still remembered as one of the most important moments in Rengo history, and is cherished especially by those who dream of freedom from the Empire of Wamato.
