Mafuatea

A famous Mu'o'a Faifāitonu who petitioned Talomatangi'aku, the Aku of Ofuto'o, for permission to live on the shores of the lake. They founded the first permanent settlement on the sacred Papa Ahi plateau, which was a source of great controversy among the Mu'o'a at the time.
