Nudd the Guardian

One of the small Ellyll, Nudd is the guardian spirit of a particular tree. Nudd is believed to protect the tree and the surrounding area from harm, and to ensure that the tree grows healthy and strong. It is said that those who show respect to Nudd and his tree will be blessed with good luck and fortune, while those who disrespect them will be cursed with misfortune and bad luck.
