Thraxinium, the ruling council of Nefalus, all of whom are Deva mages
- The tropical island nation of Nefelus is an isolationist nation run by a council of deva mages called the Thraxinium. They are known to be among the most knowledgeable arcanists in the world, and their storehouses of information contain secrets lost to the other civilized races. In addition, their navy is incredibly strong and bolstered by their ancient magic.
City of Auger
- was founded by a diviner named Auglos whose crystal balls and arcane glass devices were extraordinarily attuned to divining magic and could send and receive communications thousands of miles, possibly even across planes. Auger was later destroyed by a vicious raid, the details of which are lost to time. Rufus Crumley owns one of the relic handheld glass devices, which has been sputtering with activity recently, printing coordinates to a remote location 140 miles north of Overlook in Githyanki language.

Vlaakith CLVII (147th), the Lich Queen has ruled the githyanki for over 1000 years from capital city Tu'narath which is built on an island in the Astral Sea formed by the body of a dead god known as "The One in the Void"
