General Summary
After destroying Sarshan, party status was:
- Digen - low HP
- Gorgoroth - unconscious -1 HP
- Thom - semi conscious 0 HP
- Caesar - reduced to a blob of goo
- Scyther - reduced to a blob of goo
Digen performed healing and Remove Affliction rituals to restore party.
New PC, Varus (played by Jeremy) arrived and introduced himself to party.
Digen completed Sarshan's teleportation ritual and the party arrived at a cave near Skull Gorge in the Wyrmsmoke Mountains.
- Found Black Arrow crates but they were false compartments holding personal effects and journals of Sarshan.
After communicating to Megan Swiftblade over the Sending Stone, heroes found refuge and healing at Drellin's Ferry with Konstantin, a human trader in debt to Megan.
After resting, heroes head back to Overlook post haste. Current status is:
- Digen - fully rested
- Gorgoroth - fully rested
- Thom - fully rested
- Varus - fully rested
- Caesar - fully rested. Intense sharp pain in both sides of abdomen. High pitched ringing sensation that is more intense away from other members of the "hive." Caesar's subconscious relates hive to other lycanthropes, ie the "pack"
- Scyther - fully rested but dazed. He has lost hive awareness and now feels completely lost and without purpose. He joined the party as an envoy from his hive in the Thornwaste but without contact with them he is like a robot without programming. He will decide to go back to Thornwaste and try to reconnect with hive.
Current state of Elsir Vale is :
- Overlook in serious damage after battle. Walls destroyed north and south, western section of city burned. Crops and fields destroyed. Food shortage.
- Talar mostly destroyed from lava flows. Little remains.
- Brindol's potato crops burned by dragonfire.
- Marthdon farms being raided by kobolds clan who worship "Vrax" and led by "Dragon Queen"
- Grove near Dauth haunted by banshee. Local boys injured trying to destroy her.
- Witchwood Forest infected with necrotic energy
Elf families and clans leavingAnimals spooked, attacking rangers and settlers or migrating away
