General Summary
Lieutenant Coggin, Captain Dauralis escorted the heroes from the temple to the western city wall. There the party saw a githyanki airship crash to the ground outside the wall.
A single occupant, a githzerai named Tokk'it, presented himself and begged for assistance. His fortress, 120 miles to the north was being attacked by a githyanki army.
Tokk'it revealed that the githyanki were at war all across the realm, and other areas had not been doing as well as the Elsir Vale. He sought the Heroes of the Vale to help defend his fortress at Akma'ad. At the fortress, githzerai leaders from across the plane had just arrived for a council on what to do about the invasion just before the attack began.
On board the ship, Caesar found three portraits of githzerai. Tokk'it recognized the leaders but most shockingly, the style was that of his girlfriend, Gallia. He knows that she drew the sketches.
Gorgoth and Thom found the captain's orders and a note.
- Captains orders, signed by Captain Iquel, and order the captain of the Conqueror to accompany the warships Sacrifice and Tyranny from Tu’narath to attack the githzerai stronghold of Akma’ad. The ship’s manifest lists a full contingent of 140 troops, one dragon and lancer, and a gish assassin named Brann’ot.
- Note: Our informer is inside Akma’ad already, and has agreed to assist Brann’ot in the assassination of the foul githzerai leaders. Once you receive the signal from my flagship that the defenses are neutralized, land the Conqueror at a safe distance from the fortress and disembark all of your troops along with the Tyranny.

As the heroes quietly contemplated the upcoming battle, Digen got a feel for the ballista on the side of the ship. He noticed two red dots on the horizon getting bigger and yelled, "DRAGONS!"
