Session 25 - Captured
General Summary
The adventurers took a draconian named Tozak captive and interrogated him. He talked a lot but didn't reveal much. He might have been stalling for time, allowing his side to build up reinforcements and set a trap.
He confirmed that his group was enchanting magical items to change someone's appearance. Another of his party was trying to enchant a sword, but Tozak said that draconian was an idiot and wasted their time and resources.
He complained that the life of a draconian is extremely painful, but was not ready to trade anything but information. Eventually, the party had him lead them to where they might find answers. They crossed a bridge to another island where they saw a partially fallen domed building. Inside the half-structure was a bonfire lit by eight draconians and a large dragon. Red | Firbolg Circle of Spores Druid quickly determined that the dragon was only an idol, built of sticks and mud and tar.
Tozak announced that he'd captured prisoners. A voice called out from near the dragon idol and told the party to drop their weapons. Instead, they attacked.
Surrounded by 12 or more draconians, the party fell one by one and were thrown in bamboo cages.
