A small Resistance grows in opposition to the Empire and its hidden truths.   The Queen Mother has outlawed many beliefs and activities, and has expunged fact from history. She would have her subjects believe she is a benevolant ruler who ended the Scales of War to usher in an era of peace. She is really Tiamat, demon queen of chromatic dragons.   Meanwhile, the constellations have changed and a black rift grows in the sky. Across the planes, entities from beyond the known realms are corrupting the souls and bodies of local inhabitants, changing them into horrific monsters.   The fabric that binds the planes is failing. If it collapses, everything and everyone will cease to exist. Only the power of a dead god can save them all.
