The Lost Mines of Karak

Bram Ironfell hired the Heroes to investiage the Lost Mines of Karak, to fund the future defenses of Overlook.

Hired by Bram Ironfell, a wealthy dwarf representative of the Elsir Consortium, the Heroes trekked south to search for the Karak Lode, a legendary mine full of treasures.   Upon entering the Thornwaste, the Heroes were warned not to interfere with the Ghostlord.   Finding Karak, the party negotiated a deal with Queen Sephatiah only to find out she was a decoy. They destroyed the dryad Willow, who was covering for the real Queen.   After a battle with naga Queen Sephatiah, the Heroes accidentally ignited roots of elemental chaos, opening a gateway to the Plane of Elemental Fire, much like the volcano at Umbraforge.
