The Republic of United Peoples

The Republic of United Peoples (RUP) is the most powerful and important governmental power in the BioVerse. Encompassing the majority of the populated regions of the BioVerse, the RUP has united almost all established regions and countries under the idea of peace and diplomacy. The RUP's key ideal is that anything can be accomplished through peaceful means. The RUP has existed far longer than any other established government, and is considered one of the most important Multiversal powers in the world, mostly because they have one of the largest free markets in the Multiverse and the Biogenerators are based in the cultural center of the RUP. It is believed that the RUP was established shortly after the founding of the Biogenerators during the Great Separation in an effort to unite the confused people and create somewhere anyone can live without worry of survival.

Structure

The RUP is governed by a senate with representatives from each region they have control over. In the center of this senate is the chancellor, an elected official charged with the diplomatic representation of the Republic as a whole.

Culture

The RUP's culture, much like the BioVerse itself, is incredibly diverse, ranging seemingly all across the Verse as well as the cultural spectrum, but there seems to be a couple of key factors to it. [Come back to this]

Public Agenda

The RUP's open agenda is to sustain civil discussion and peace among the major powers of the Multiverse.

Assets

The RUP is incredibly economically powerful, having held trade deals and peaceful alliances with other nations across the Multiverse.

History

Similar to the most popular theories on the beginning of the RUP, it was indeed founded between the Great Separation and the Connection, though it was much closer to the Connection than others realize. It began as a simple alliance between two independent states in the BioVerse, but as one state's power and influence outgrew the other, the smaller state was slowly consumed by the larger one, and thus began the expansion of the Republic. Since then, everything before the Connection is history. But after the Connection, things got a little rowdy in the conflict department with the Multiversal war. Throughout it, the RUP remained peacefully neutral and extended their reach as far as they could to make sure the war ended with as little death as possible. With that, they sent healers out to fronts across the Hub and sent forces to independent states and cities to protect them from oncoming battles. Of course, all who accepted them had to agree to not fight in the war themselves as long as they were occupied. One of these cities was the now-famous city of Kal'suud, which also served as a refugee camp during the war, though they also continued their trade deals with other, stronger powers and grew more powerful as their coffers expanded. After the war ended, the RUP brought the leaders of the participants of the war together to form a sort of council which would meet each year in order to upkeep national relations between the Verses to prevent another war like the last one. This council decided to meet in Kal'suud due to its impressive economic power and independence, and named themselves the Hub Council.

Religion

Religion is openly encouraged in the RUP, welcoming those who worship any of the Alchemicals. However, there is no official or cultural tolerance of the Cult of Bei'el.
