The New Mission

On January 21st, 2020, Book 2 of the Nameless Trilogy will officially commence. Although we will cover a lot of details during session 0, I wanted to put some details in writing for everyone to refer back to whenever they want.

• The in-game year is 1675. It has been a little over a year since the conclusion of Book 1
• In the past year, the Twin Continents have been wracked by strange occurrences. Portals to the elemental planes opening, releasing elementals that do battle with one another on the Material Plane. Strange anomalies that defy the laws of nature. Weird pestilences and diseases, and even stranger monsters appearing. And now it has been confirmed that demons are emerging at night to kill and slaughter before disappearing before the dawn.
• Albion al-Malik, the newly crowned king of Aurelia, is concerned by these anomalies. He dispatches his trusted Seeker of the Realm, Razia Malundama to investigate the anomalies and how, if possible, they can be stopped. 
• Razia begins her investigation in Aurelia, looking first into the disturbances in the elemental planes and how they might be connected to the year-long civil war in the Genasi nation of Al-Djinn-San. 
• She receives a translation of a Primordial poem that delivers a warning and directions for the Genasi. There are three other poems that need to be retrieved. 
• Having confirmed a possible link, she receives the blessing of the king to take a team north to investigate Al-Djinn-San. This new team must be able to deal with many unknown dangers and strange anomalies, as well as investigating the Genasi civil war. Sibeel al-Haiya arranges transport for them with an old friend from the Resistance days, and they all prepare to head off...
