Session 10 Recap

Jeremy Nots:

• 1) Players decided to do a full grid search of Zaharra using the "Locate Object" spell.
• 2) Near the crater they noticed a couple of owls watching them. Gleeb used a "Detect Magic" spell to determine that the owls were not natural.
• Mav scared them off and Gleeb botched an attack on them. Jam thinks they may be "Familiars". One of the owls take a dump on Gleeb
• 3) Mav and Keeva split off on their own. They rob a homeless drunk of his bottle. Keeva then steals some fruit from a vendor she switches a wooden coin for the gold she owes.
• 4) The rest of the party is shopping or searching.
• A) Plume tries to bargain for a very expensive Lightning Wand. He learns the the shop (The Sphinx) owners wife, Xern, is a witness to the meteor crash.
• B) They then go to the Scriptorium, woner Braneyene.
• 5) Jame and Plume cover the two inner rings of the city in search of the Solarstone.
• 6) Mav get's a call from Rusty. Her brother Dorian and parents have left Faerun for Sabaoth.
• 7) Keeva does a little shopping at Hilda's Haubeks. She gets some armor of fire resistance. Hilda is a bit of a Historian. She knows a few old stories about falling stones in earlier ages of creation. She has some books that might be relevant for study.
• 8) Plume is visitted by her Patron, Sara. She then gets a vision of her mother in Elysium. Her patron tells her the stone is no longer in Zaharra.
• 9) The weapon's hop owner knows a guy, Jorgen, who saw someone come out of the crater, wearing dark cloaks. Jorgen works for the Vice Mayor.
• Jorgen get's off work at 8.
• 10) Party went to City Hall. Plume approaches Jorgen and get's some racisist smack from some of his coworkers (Rick).
• 11) What Jorgen saw: "First a little smoke and
• light. Hooded figures, 2 or 3, light from the crater faded, then
• green mist appears. Possible silver filigree on robes, maybe
• snake imagery. One had a walking stick. Headed north or
• northwest. He said these figures scared him, even for someone
• who lives in a crime city."
• 12) The party met Lord Vesper.
• Keeva notices that he's pretending to be a noble but clearly has hand to hand training. leb pretends to be a lord also. Vesper offers his address. He's
• trying to remember someone Keena reminds him of. Vesper recognizes Maris family name.
• Keeva knows the Shadowthorn manor and the Vesper name. They're merchants. He smells of berry and ginger, like a fancy soup.
• 13) Party paid a visit to the Shadowy Oasis to screw with Rick. It's a
• guard hangout. Surrounded by palm trees. Air thick with spices. Bard is playing. Barney, purplish dragonborn, is tending bar. Mar convinces him she's a wine expert and orders a fancy bottle. Sit at a table. Gossip with Barney. Ask about "silver serpent," mentions outside the city theres a cult, colors black and red, might be related. Cult Asmodeus. They think Asmodeus could bring the lush past back.
• 14) Rick comes in. Jam and Keena make Rick have a massivease of the facts. Its so bad Barney kicks him out. (funny:)
• 15) Walking back to Dragon Dog. Jon sees one of the owls from before crossing the moon. Mav yells at it. Plame speaks into its head. She hears a language she doesn't know. Sounds Ike "z ohdee py well ooze oo rookie"

NEXT SESSION:

• Speak to Shopkeepers about Infernal, ask about silver serpents, gently ask about the Cult of Asmodeus
• Scout out cult
