Components: Reaction enhancers utilize a biocompatible superconducting material that massively shortens the electrochemical resistance between nerves, allowing for an increase in reaction time.
Implantation: Parts of the wearer's spine are replaced with a superconductor, and some ganglia are reinforced with the same material via surgery. After approximately 5 days of getting used to the new reaction time, the user is capable of now using the reaction enhancers to its full potential.
Abilities: Reaction enhancers have three classes, with each one being more powerful than the last.
Class 1: Class 1 Reaction enhancers are the least powerful, but still give a substantial increase in reaction times. Class 1 Reaction enhancers allow the user to dodge handgun rounds at close range.
Class 2: Class 2 Reaction enhancers are the second most powerful, providing a drastic increase in reaction times. Class 2 Reaction enhancers allow the user to dodge rifle rounds at medium to close range.
Class 3: Class 3 Reaction enhancers are the most powerful, given a tremendous increase in reaction times. Class 3 Reaction enhancers allow the user to dodge rifle rounds at close range with ease.
Reaction enhancers work best when combined with other reaction boosting augmentations, such as wired reflexes. By itself is pretty great, but when combined with others, its performance shoots right up.
