Mental characteristics

Personal history

Beñat was born to a farming family on De Leon, where he spent his youth. At a young age, he took an interest in the many Pardian ruins dotted around the Confederacy, leading him to pursue a higher education in history. In the final year of his studies, tensions flared with the neighboring State of Pariah, leading to fears of the cold war going hot. Spurred by patriotic fervor and a desire to protect his home he joined the Cincastrellan Marine Corps. During his twenty years of service, he attained the rank of Gunnery Sergeant, exposed corruption, and was injured in the line of duty. He now serves as the First Mate for Captian Peter Avignon.

Education

Beñat attained a Bachelor's in Post Long Night history from the University of de Leon Cariñas. During his studies, he became close friends with Ainara Patricia Rehder Perez, Hector Luis Gonzalez Ortega, and Patricia Consael Sanchez.

Employment

After graduating from University, Beñat joined the Cincastrellan Marine Corps, serving as a combat medic, engineer, and mechanic. Relatively early in his career he was WIA in a skirmish with Parian soldiers. After his recovery, he was stationed at a logistics outpost. It was here that he discovered that a superior officer, Esteban Galvao Fernandez, had been stealing advanced medical equipment to sell to the Parians. Beñat then reported Fernandez's theft, leading to the Officer's defection to Pariah. After twenty years of service Beñat left the Corps as a Gunnery Sergeant.
