The income listed in the table is the minimum. Generally, it will be a range from the minimum to less than the maximum. Taxes are 10% of the income and will be adjusted accordingly.

The cost of maintaining the lifestyle and includes meals, clothes, transportation, and entertainment. For those of higher social status, this will include the cost of throwing lavish parties and other activities in order to maintain their status.  

Upkeep

The cost of maintaining equipment, clothes, animals, housing, running any farms or businesses. Where appropriate this includes the cost of hiring labor and consultants.  

Taxes

The city and kingdom take about 10% of the income as taxes to pay for the military, city maintenance, and the government. This may not be in the form of coins in some cases, such as a percentage of the crop from farmers.  

Profit

Any leftover money or material wealth that can be saved for future expenditures or purchases.
