Trollskin Net

Twine rope braided into a net and then wrapped in untreated green or yellow Trollhide. The net can be thrown to entangle a creature. It then hardens to stone in it's tangled postion when exposed to sunlight and effectively demobilizes the target. While entagled in the net, the victim is considered Grappled. If the net hardens into stone while on a creature, that creature takes 1d4 heat damage and the grapple penalty is increased to -4d6. The creature must make a STR check vs DC16 to esacpe. Each net is only usable when it is in it's flexible state. It is often concealed in a leather sheath to protect it from sunlight until needed.
