What is a Worldsoul?

Worldsouls are enormous concentrations of pure arcane energy that dwell on their respective planets and are fueled by the planet and it's inhabitants. This energy manifests itself in a variety of different forms throughout the multiverse, and each Worldsoul is unique in this manner. Once a Worldsoul has been formed, every being that is born on the planet bears a connection to it that gives them refined control over a certain manifestation of Arcana. In addition to this, the planet itself begins to become reliant on the world soul for it's function. The planet feeds the worldsoul and the worldsoul feeds the planet in a never ending loop, allowing for all of it's inhabitants to thrive. In short, a Worldsoul embodies the essence of a planet and it's creatures and in turn, amplifies those abilities.
