The Great Exodus

A mass migration event consisting of hundreds if not thousands of ships coming over The Sea of Lost Hope to New Haven that spanned about 13 years.

No one remembers and no historical documents seem to document the reasons for the exodus. All that is known is that over the span of almost a dozen years numerous fleets of ships came from across The Sea of Lost Hope. The first of these fleets landed in Providence and founded New Valtadonia. They would eventually be known as The Vigilant Kingdom as they were determined to help the continued flow of refugees.   The number of ships that arrived is was too numerous to count. Some set out on their own to make their own land claim while others seemed to be following the lead of apparent leaders and nobles. After the winter of the 13 year, however, the fleets stopped coming. Outside of an occasional ship or two, the people from the East no longer came to New Haven.
