The Nuclear Vehicle

A Lesson in History

In 1945, President Harry S. Truman gave permission for a nuclear bomb to be dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The atomic and hydrogen bombs revolutionized the world not just when it came to war. After the bombs had been dropped, the research continued. Many scientists developed theories on the various ways this technology could be harnessed. Perhaps these nuclear reactions did not just have to be with the use of bombs?

A few years later, the scientific community had developed the nuclear reactor. A reliable source of clean and consistent energy. One of the goods ways this reaction could be harnessed. Due to the increase use of nuclear reactors, several scientific experiments and programs began to appear. These programs were dedicated to finding even more ways to use nuclear reactions for good.

Unfortunately, several nuclear accidents happened that shut down these programs. Windscale, Kyshtym, Chernobyl, and Three Mile Island.

Due to the disastrous consequences, the United States placed many restrictions on the development of nuclear reactors and nuclear testing. Despite these restrictions, a few nuclear programs were able to continue thier research albeit under strict watch from the government.

These nuclear accidents showed just how dangerous nuclear energy could be, and how if treated incorrectly, the disastrous effects it could have on the land and the people. For these reasons, the government, unfortunately, had to shut down many nuclear experiments and programs, causing them to be shoveled away and placed into storage.

The Entrepreneurs

One of the programs shut down due to certain restrictions and government regulations were the development of nuclear cars. Much of the research for these cars were done, before the regulations were established. Unfortunately, these experiments were never able to be finished and the data was placed into storage along with various other nuclear experiments.

Until they weren't.

Once the scare from the nuclear reactors had passed a group of criminals called The Entrepreneurs took it upon themselves to find out what nuclear information was being kept from the public. The Entrepreneurs hired an inside man to hack the storage units.

Unfortunately for them their inside man was not able to gain much information before getting caught. However, logistics for a nuclear powered automotive were able to be sent. The Entrepreneurs deleted the electronic trail and spent several years decoding the logistics and data.

It took some time before they could build a vehicle that was big enough for "miniature" nuclear reactor Once placed inside the truck, it ran for over 50 years. This truck no longer exists in the criminal community was due to the truck being too old (the doors could no longer stay on, the windows didn't roll down, and the AC never seemed to work), as well as the lack of skill and knowledge The Entrepreneurs had when building the truck.

The truck was dumped and the nuclear reactor was taken out and placed into another one.

This was the start of nuclear run automotives for criminals. Although, there were a few issues in the beginning this way of nuclear travel spread throughout the criminal community. Each nuclear reactor becoming better and smaller.

Not all criminals drive in or own nuclear powered cars, mostly because of the consequential dangers of being discovered with one, but also because of the cost of buying or building a mini nuclear reactor. However, that does not stop some wealthy criminals from owning one and driving it around town once in a while.
