The Pantheon of Mortal Gods
These divine beings are the ones most popular amongst humans (and some dwarves and elves). They are said to be the gods who freed humans from the slavery of the giants, and who have looked out for their favoured‘children’ ever since. They are sometimes known as the Mortal Gods, and have very human-like relationships and emotions, their myriad tales being entertaining and tumultuous affairs of daily life, war, and romance.
Since the catastrophe known as The Long Night, a number of the Pantheon have been silent. Priests and oracles have been unable to receive their gifts and so these gods have been deemed missing, but many believe them to be dead. It would seem that the upheaval of recent years has not been limited to the mortal world.
