Arms

DESCRIPTION

Arms is the character the player plays in Armed and is the game's protagonist. Arms is a gamer literally dropped into the Oob by mistake. Since Arms came from a first person shooter game before they fell into the Oob they are simply two floating arms which is why Mutter, Arms' Guide companion, named them so. Arms can come in two variants chosen by the player at the beginning of the game which affect some speech elements and assumptions. These variants are "Casual" and "Hardcore". The casual variant of Arms likes to play videogames on occasion and is more wonderous in their reactions to the sights of the Oob. Mutter is less likely to assume Arms know what he means as he talks and might try and take advantage of Arms in an attempt to selfishly utilize Arms' naivety. The hardcore variant of Arms is a seasoned gamer and has played many genres. The Hardcore variant is more likely to know the origins of various elements of the Oob and marvel at specificities. Mutter is often more wary of the hardcore variant of Arms being acutely aware of how veteran a killer the hardcore gamer is. Mutter is more likely to assume Arms know what he is talking about and might make more plans behind Arms' back in case their companionship turns sour.
