Dueling

Dueling is only permitted in specific places and must be marshaled by an officer of the Iron Truncheons or a Magisters. A duel must be for reasons of specific injury allowed by a Magister.

Lords, Magisters, Iron Truncheons, and those with diplomatic status are exempt from challenges.

Guilds and Temples

The heads of guilds and religious orders are forbidden from dueling, however the members of their organizations are under no such restrictions.

This prohibition on dueling goes a long way to prevent guild wars and religious crusades.
