The Iron Truncheons are established.

Founding

​Originally established as the City Guard, the Iron Truncheons were founded to provide a formal constabulary to police the city of Falport and its immediate surrouding area.​

​At their creation, the newly founded City Guard was prohibited from carrying swords as they were to act as a policing agency and not a military force (that being the responsibility of The Legion). The newly appointed High Sheriff, retrieved a swords from the wall of The Circle of Five's chambers, beat the edge dull on a wall, and proclaimed it to be an "iron truncheon"; since this time the City Guard have been known as the Iron Truncheons. While the current mandate still prohibits the carrying of swords by the City Guard, the Iron Truncheons now carry gladius-like swords with live, sharp edges.​
