Temple of Yana

There are many different temples for Yana, goddess of love and family. But none as famous as the one in Asharia. The building is in the heart of aspen forest and is dedicated to helping the poor. It is also where most people get married in Asharia.
The temple was built from wood and stone. It has a main room for worship and weddings with a statue of the goddess. There are also rooms for the priests to sleep in. Also well as a basement where food is stored for the priests.
The temple is said to be have been built on sacred ground. Blessed by the goddess herself. The temple seems to emit light and has a welcoming atmosphere.
The temple has a proud history of helping people.

Purpose / Function

Temple was built so people could worship the goddess, Yana. The temple looks after the poor by giving them food and blankets, as well as shelter.

Contents & Furnishings

There are pews in the main room; along with an altar and a statue of the goddess.

Valuables

The gold cast statue of the goddess is the most valuable thing in the temple. The statue is about the same height as a small child. It sits on the altar.

Alterations

The priest didn't always have a room in the temple. The priest's room was added in the Third Era. The room was added carefully as to not disturb the main temple.

History

The temple was blessed around the Second Era and then built. In the Third Era, a room was built for the priests. So they would have a place to live and serve the goddess. The temple has been taken care of for the past few Eras. The temple has a long history of helping people get back on their feet.
