Vitous Forest
Dense wood as far as the birds could see flying over this vast wood. No humanoid could think to walk through the non-pathed sections, they'd never make it a yard before being stopped by an impassable thicket of tree and fern. There hasn't been a chance for a thinning of the trees in these parts, the firbolg tribes and elven cities refuse to let the forest be damaged. This is much to the detriment of all however. Game has trouble moving through the foliage. The magic that once seeped from the earth below is now stagnant. The fae that frequented the land have abandoned it as a meeting place. Radical changes need to happen before the forest can sourish with life again, not that there isn't an abundance of life within it.
Geography
Hilled in the north and south most points, when you're close to the mountain ranges that close in the ends of the forest. There is a leveled valley in the middle that is more clearly defined when there is a clearing of brush. In the east and west, the rivers St.Estera and Dargera respectively make up borders the trees obey for the most part. Smaller rivers that run through the wood meet up with these two eventually.
Fauna & Flora
Dragon Ash grow in the grove of the same name in the south. Mundane trees of most varieties find home here in their preferred regional habitats. The magic that seeps into the dirt and mud are ample fertilizer for potion reagents of all sort. Blood caps grow on the unfortunate who fall prey to the dangers of the wood and arcana vine of all sorts crawls its way up the mighty trees.
Natural Resources
Wood of a variety of harnesses. Hides from the magical and mundane game. Fish from the rivers. Dragon Ash trees for the making of magical implements are said to grow there, but returning with said wood has proven impossible as not many come back with anything to show for their attempts to harvest any.
