Lord of Dragons

In the Oryuh Archipelago, dragons are considered sacred, as they were the first to arrive and just allow us to live on their territory. And so there is no greater title than the Lord of Dragons, a title recognized by all kingdoms on the archipelago.

The first Lord of Dragons

In the Ancient Times, when tales et still transmitted through stories and song, and no record was made of history, the dragons showed to the settlers where they could live and where they could not. If some settlers wanted to go further than the dragons allowed, they were stopped by them, and killed. Are sone point, the settlers to fear, wondering what would v happen if the sacred dragons changed their minds about the lands they were living on. And so they tried to find people grave enough to defend them. There was almost a war then between the settlers and the dragons. Almost because thankfully a young woman instigated peace. She was the first Lord of Dragons because she could talk to them. She would discuss with them and understand their demands. She could then explain the settlers’ and all got resolved peacefully. She remained the Lord of Dragons until she died. She tried to teach a few others the language of dragons but couldn’t succeed. Only on the day of her dear someone could finally understand. She could die peacefully, knowing the dragons would still have a voice.
Ever since, only one Lord of dragons at a time existed, except for one day, allowing some passation between the two Lords.

Use of the Lords

The Lord of Dragons has an important role in the Archipelago. Dedicated to the dragons, he has to travel to the communities who seek to communicate with them. It is his only task and he has no choice but to accept it.
