High Cardinal Krozen

High Cardinal Krozen is the de facto leader of Thrane, and through the council of thirteen High Cardinals he wields his political power to influence the entire nation. While Krozen manages the nation's practical issues, he leaves the young Keeper of the Flame, Jaela Daran, to act as spiritual leader. 
He's known for his immense political sway, and as a power behind the throne in Thrane. As a younger man, he served as a crusader in the Thranish military, and quickly rose in prominence as a natural leader. Soon, he moved away from combat to dedicate himself to his faith, and by the end of the war was serving as a High Cardinal. He holds influence over most of the other High Cardinals, and rarely does he not get his way.
Rumours still persist of the sort of actions he may have taken to protect his country and to acheive his personal power, but they are rarely spoken aloud. He is known for his significant divine power, also, and many of his commands in the Cathedral have divine compulsion behind them. Today, he has a reputation of ruthlessness and paranoia, and stories are told of him destroying a noble's reputation in one ruinous deadpan joke over dinner.
