A bustling trade town positioned on the lightning rail, the town's lifeblood is trade. Located close to the intersection of Aundair, Breland, and Thrane, its location once brought it prosperity, but it soon became a vicious battleground in the last war. By the time the ceasefires were called, the town had been captured thirteen times, had more burned or ruiend buildings than intact ones, and was nearly abandoned by its people. This changed in the prosperity brought about by peace, though, and soon the merchants and traders returned to seek a profit. 
Today, the intact portions of the town are mostly tents, stalls, caravans and other mobile structures. A small city of tents sprawls down the rail line, with only one district of permanent buildings being in any real use. To the south, the ruins of the old town still cling alongside the tracks, with rumours of hauntings, unexploded ordnance and the uncomfortable past stalling any efforts to repurpose or replace the ruins. 
The caravan town remains an excellent place to secure trade deals, find rare goods before they reach the markets at Fairhaven, and secure trade routes with the southern nations.
